"Which Do You Love Best?"

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Ever Merciful.

The messenger  of Allah (saws) was such an amazing individual, it was impossible for him to say anything except the truth. He was asked by his wife Aisha (raa), "Which of your wives do you love best?" Now, if you know much about the life of the Prophet (saws), then you know how much he loved Aisha. He once said to his daughter Fatima (raa), "Don't you love what I love?" She responded, "Yes." He said, "Then love Aisha." He had an incredibly strong love for Aisha, and yet when she asked him,  "Which of your wives do you love best?" what did he say (saws)? He said, "Khadijah." Who was Khadijah? Khadijah was his first wife. She was the one he was married to for years before he even became the messenger of Allah (saws). She was the one who comforted and consoled him on the night of his first revelation from the Divine, when he ran to her crying in a state of fear and shock, saying to her, "cover me up." She was the first to believe in him and accept Islam. So when Aisha (raa) asked him, "Which of your wives do you love best?" he (saws) said, "Khadijah." And Aisha (raa) said, Why do you love Khadijah better? She's long dead, and I'm younger..." and this and that, and the Prophet (saws) became upset, and he said, "Khadijah was with me when everybody had abandoned me. She gave me wealth and supported me…" Subhanallah, think about this. What normal man would say that to the wife that he was going to be living with now, about the previous wife. You'd except him to say, no I prefer you. But the Prophet (saws) was not a normal man. She asked him, and he told her the truth. This was the exceptional character of the messenger of Allah (saws).

"And indeed, you [O Muhammad] are of tremendous character" (Qur'an 68:4)

  5. Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
I would like to ask a question that is really making me sad and depressed. I prayed since I was 14 years old and I'm now 16. I have come to this age that I want to become a better muslim and serve Allah the best. But, I have this scary thought when I pray. I can't focus in my salah and it's really making me scared because you have to perform Salah like it's your last and I'm not doing it. My friend it's telling me to watch lectures about how you can get a better Iman but it's not helping. It feels like I'm a hypocrite and that's the last thing I wanna be as a Muslim. Please, give me some advice how to get a better Iman because I love Islam more than anything and I just wanna do everything you are supposed to do as a Muslim. So, please if you have any ideas, tell me!
    JazakAllah Khair!

Dearest sister..that is only syaitan whispering to your ears saying u're not doing good enough. Then when u try too hard and everytime being frustrated and scared, then one day u will feel want to give up to even pray. That is poisonous. What u can do is gain more knowledge of what u r reciting in solah, such as the meaning of the arabic words, what does al-fatihah means for every sentences. Follow what you recite and will full understanding of what it meant really helps you to focus in your solah. Another thing u can do is, if u cant memorize all its meaning, you can follow what you recite word by word without thinking of any other thoughts.
It is our effort to get closer to Him is what being counted..not our deeds. That's why when u do smthing even the smallest daily routine like washing yourself, always do it for Allah s.w.t.
      Wallahualam

  7. I am sorry before but I have to ask you. SAWS mean Salallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam and it is for Prophet Muhammad, am I right? but in this article, why you put (saws) behind Allah? JazakAllah...

    1. It is very technical error there and Peter most probably meant s.w.t that mean subhanahu wa taala..but most importantly, this small technical error wont decrease your iman to Allah s.w.t nor to our prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
